Saraswati Puja is a celebration of Basant Panchami, arrival of spring . Saraswati , ancient goddess of knowledge, language, music and all arts symoolizes creative energy and power in all its form. The season and festival also reflects the agricultural fields which are ripening with yellow flowers of mustard crop, which Hindus associate with Saraswati’s favorite color.

BNE will be celebrating Saraswati Pujo on Feb. 16th 2019, Saturday. BNE is looking forward for your participation to make the Saraswati Pujo cultural event a success. For Saraswati Pujo, BNE will be entertaining kids’ participation and kids' group program. Of course, we will also accept adults' participation too. BNE will give 1st preference to new director/s or participant/s people who did not direct last year in adult programs. Please email BNE at bne@b-ne.org.

Puja 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Art Competition 11:00 AM sharp, ends at 12:30 PM
Anjali No anjali beyond 2 PM
Haathe-khori 12:30 PM
Lunch 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM (no lunch will be served after 2:30PM)
Cultural program 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Dinner Box Served only after conclusion of cultural program (approx. around 5 PM)
Wrap up and closing 6 PM
